一、主旨题考察内容
主旨题一般出现在文章的第一题或最后一题，考察该文的中心思想，主旨大意。
常见问法如下：
What is the passage mainly about?
The main idea of the passage might be ( )?
The best title for this passage is ( )?
二、主旨题解题策略
(一)找首段或尾段，或综合概括各段第一句
(二)找频率较高的词
(三)排除原文中过于细节化的选项
(四)片面绝对的语气不可选，委婉语气可能大

细节题考察对文章某一处细节的理解，以及迅速定位的能力。
what、why、when、where、who、how
二、细节题解题策略
(一)找关键词。
关键词有两种：一种是显性关键词，如包含大写字母的词(或词组)、人名、地名、时间、数字、生词等;一种是隐性关键词，主要指句子的主干内容，即句子的主体(即主语)和对象(即宾语)。
(二)通过关键词回到原文定位。此时尤其要注意同义替换，常见为名词、名词词组、形容词等。
(三)结合上下语境分析。
(四)顺序原则。即出题顺序与行文顺序基本一致。
